Ream recorded an interception, a tackle and three clearances in Friday's 4-1 win over Paraguay.
Analysis: Ream would start in the defense and captain the USMNT as expected in the opener, playing the full 90. He would have a decent game in the back despite no clean sheet, highlighted by a yellow card that was overturned and given to Miguel Almiron of Paraguay instead for diving. Ream remains the veteran presence on the team moving forward, hopefully being able to keep his legs for the whole group stage.

Ream (rest) is in the starting lineup for Saturday's match against New England Revolution.
Analysis: Ream returned to the squad as expected following a one-game absence due to load management.
